In the past there were only a limited number of people would have considered starting a business. But this has changed because many more people now will take the risk of going it alone and making their own product because our culture and society has changed and become more diverse with the growth of the internet. Business is expensive and complicated but just how tough it is is dependant upon what type of business you are in. For example an online internet business can have major advantages, financial obviously, and offline businesses may need to pay for stock or an office where they are not needed online. People are now more likely to start a business now, large companies are moving online, but its individuals and the small business which can benefit the most. Just having a computer and internet connection is all you need to start a business. Eg research websites make money online, they offer background checks and reverse phone lookups, and for a small fee you can research who phoned you or find out more about someone you already know.
